Two faculty Positions in Physicsa

The Department of Physics invites applications for  two tenure-track faculty positions  in areas of experimental condensed matter physics. However, applications from candidates of other physics areas will be also considered when they are exceptionally well qualified.   The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in physics or related fields, and is expected to establish an independent research program while teaching Departments undergraduate and graduate classes in English. The appointment is expected to be at the junior faculty level. The application deadline is June 9, 2008, and the expected date of appointment is September 1, 2008. Any application received later than the deadline will be  considered for the appointment in next spring. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a brief research statement,  and arrange to have at least three letters of reference  sent to:
